Lil' Gansta Poser on the L
I caught this guy on the Brooklyn Bound L train one afternoon during school hours without his crew. Because he was traveling solo, he had to put on his "extra tough, I'll rip your eyes out of their sockets , if you mess with me expression"
Old Skool 30's Gangsta
I saw this Character on a subway train with his hair slicked back Hawkish Nose, and cunning expression. He reminded me of those old skool gangstas I used to see in those 1930's flicks. Cagney, Bogie, Edward G Robinson. I added the cig for dramatic effect.

Late last year I got a ticket for speeding, so I took the drivers class to erase it. In that class, I sat one person over from this guy - he was trying to sell weed to the people sitting next to him. Later (in this 4 hour class from hell) he got caught sleeping and the instructor made him stand for the remainder of the class - it was funny.Anyways, the way he dressed along with his idiosyncrasies, in my mind made him a true thug/ gangster.
