I know I am posting a bit late, but my inspiration for Heroes and Villains did not hit me until late Sunday night when I realized one of my favorite “Heroes” can also be a pretty nasty villain. It just depends on which movie your watching.

So here is a quick sketch of the incomparable Godzilla.

I found a little extra time this week, and did a new piece.

It feels sorta like cheating to recycle a piece.

Obviously, a timely piece, caught the flick last week...after being so blown away by the first one, the sequels just seem to be more of the same...good, but well, just like pizza, even if it was bad, it'd be good.

My hero is Andy Warhol. I chucked this together in 3 hours this morning. I hadn't posted anything on Art Jumble yet, so I really wanted to contribute something to this topic, even though this is not quite what I would usually consider a finished piece. I've been wanting to do an Andy Warhol character for a while, finally I got around to it.

Hero or Villain?

I like those dark characters like Batman and Spawn, the kinda guys that walk a thin line between being a hero and being a villain. Like this guy here! He looks like a villain. Sort of an amalgam of Doctor Doom, The Hob Goblin, and the guitarist from Spinal Tap.

Hero

I'm posting an oldy...again. It seems every time I think I will be free to work on my own stuff and do some new Art Jumble pics, I get busy with another project. I guess it's good that I get to pay some bills, but MAN! I am dying to have some time off! Anyway, this guy is my spoof of the Incredible Hulk. Like I had to explain that, he looks just like the Hulk. I'm working on making him somehow different from hulk; like how in The Justice Friends on Dexter's Lab, Krunk was purple instead of green. This is an older version of him. In the newer one he has tighty whities because his pants completely rip off.
