Two of my favorite characters! I'm loving the style differences between the two sides. You captured the essence of the original look for each of them, but still managed to give the illustration your own twist.
I love the contrast of art styles between Calvin and Max. I can only imagine what kind of mischief these two monsters will get into. Love all the textures and the watercolor effects. Great work!
