The colors are perfect, the pose is nice and the kid-fish character's great! I think I like it! ^__^I forgot to mention the ship...great job!
i love that shes not a typical looking mermaid :) almost shark like with those fins! and the background is very fitting and simplistic :D
Everything is so wonderful about this piece...the shell shape in her hair, the tiny tucked in arms, and bubbles, you have to have bubbles with a mermaid.
That BG is just great, really like how simple yet effective it is.
