Kaujjagjuk

A few weeks ago, we had an Inuit storyteller named Michael Kusugak come in and do his schtick with the kids. He was fantastic. He told a couple of stories about Kaujjagjuk, who was this little orphan boy. The people that he lived with treated him like crap, and he slept with the puppies in the entrance of the igloo. He called the puppies against his back "Mattress" and those on his front "Blanket." The entire time he was telling stories, I was picturing the pieces that I could do from the stories.

Awesome stuff!

This subject matter is totally inspiring on so many levels: If you can find it, I recommend a novel called "Zig Zag"
