whoa!! im a little late on this but I figure better late then never. The lyric is from one of my favorite bands.. there old stuff is soo good there sorta emo sissies now. but the lyric is from the band: "AFI" from there Ep: "All Hallows" song title: "the boy who destroyed the world" Lyric: "Once there was a boy who had a fathomed glow"

Nik - Great piece! Hahaha, I can't remember if that character is from Mario Bros. 2 or 3 but it is too funny.
Dan - Creepy kid! I thought the same thing as Nik when I first saw the post, the tricycle almost looked 3-D. Great job! Are those bombs in his spotlight too?
thansk for the comments guys. looks like the pebbles on teh ground casued alot of problems. the liyric saying that the boy has a glow. I was going for trying to make the boy look like hes glowing. and I was trying to use the pebbles on the ground as sorta a marker for ppl to be able to tell the boy was glowing. Alas I did not do a good job casue I had acouple otehr confsued as to what they were as well. some one said they look like rifle barrels.. which they do.. I just don't have the photoshop knowledge to know to make things glow..but im happy with the way the kid truned out drawing wise.
