i actually love the black and white linework. im sure it would make an amazing water color but i enjoy it how it is already :) not to mention shes pretty creepy unlike normal mermaid persona ;D
This has that epic childrens story quality to it and you feel like you just stepped into one of the chapters. Great Drama on this piece. Love the mood the placement of the characters and the overall rhythm and energy of this piece.
Awesome! Works great as a b&w piece, but would love to see the color rendition, too. Reminiscent of Arnold Roth's work – one of my favorite illustrators ever.
