These two almost seem connected, like tey're part of the same strory. In the above image we have the innocent character wistful for adventure, seeming unaware that somewhere in a deeper darker part of the ocean, her Dark Nemesis is planning her demise, and also viewing her every move in that crystal ball she's holding.
